Straw is a RSS reader for Linux. It needed some hard work to properly install on my linux box. Actually I still have the problem about the connection (yep, that proxy stuff) but there are no more problems with the installation thanks to this guy. And I've learnt to make rpm packages so the reading was worth although Straw still doesn't work.

It didn't work for me also. There are too many depencences for a simple "download everything you need yourself".
